Who can register online?

Online registration is only available if:

  • Your child has never attended a Canby School District school.
  • You are enrolling your child in our program school: Trost Elementary

If your situation does not fit the above criteria, contact your neighborhood school. You can use the Boundary Map to find your neighborhood school.

My student is already enrolled at a Canby School. Do I need to register them for the upcoming school year?

No. If your student is already enrolled in a Canby School, you do not need to re-enroll them for the upcoming school year. In the Fall, we will ask you to verify your family and student's information.

How secure is the online enrollment?

Online Registration uses a 256-bit, secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect information. The technology is similar to that used in other industries such as health care and banking.

Can I register more than one student through Online Registration?

Yes. Custodial parents can register multiple new students in a household at one time.

Can I start my Online Registration now and finish it later?

Applications can be saved if more data entry is needed and reopened at a later time with the created username and password.

Once my online application is submitted, can I go back and make changes?

No. To make changes to a previously submitted registration, families should contact the school. Office staff can assist with changes to the submitted registration. After the registration file has been accepted by the school, parents can log in and make updates/changes to their student's information throughout the year.

I forgot my ParentVUE password
  1. Go to the Canby ParentVUE login Page
  2. Click on "I am a Parent"
  3. On the ParentVUE Account Access Click on More Options and then Forget Password.
  4. Enter your ParentVUE username or email address that the school has on record for you.
  5. A password email will be sent with steps on how to reset your password.
Can I access the Online Registration system from my smartphone or tablet?

There is not currently an app for Online Registration. Online Registration opens in a new window, it is best accessed from a desktop computer.

Why have I not received a confirmation email/status email after submitting an online enrollment?

If you have not received an email confirmation after submitting the enrollment, please review your junk or spam folder and mark @canby.k12.or.us email addresses as safe.

What is the difference between a program school and a neighborhood school?

Program School The Canby School District offers a Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program at Trost Elementary. This is a program offered to all students entering kindergarten within the district, regardless of home address. If you are joining the Canby School District after Kindergarten, please contact DLI Program Coordinator Danielle Reynolds at danielle.reynolds@canby.k12.or.us for how to participate in this program.

Neighborhood School If you are not participating in the Dual Language Immersion program, your student will attend their neighborhood school, which is determined by the student's home address.
