Do you know a school staff member who has made a difference in your life, the life of a child you know, or in our community?

Together, Kiwanis and Canby School District offer the Canby Area Recognition of Excellence (CARE) Award program to provide opportunities to recognize staff members who excel in supporting our children. This award shows staff how important they are to our community.

Each month, we will highlight a different school in our district and honor a staff member from that school.

So, ahead of your school's designated month, please take the time to nominate someone who you feel has made a significant impact on our youth! Nominations are accepted through Canby School District via a fillable form (at left) available in English and Spanish.

From the nominees, one recipient from the designated school that month is selected by a CARE committee made up of members from Kiwanis and the community. The recipient will be honored at their school or building and then at the regular school board meeting. They will receive a plaque and a gift thanks to local business sponsors.
